- It can increase the chances for twins, triplets or greater, which can be very overwhelming for new parents, financially and mentally.
- The drugs and hormones taken can be very painful to inject
- IVF can lead to what is called an Ectopic pregnancy in which the pregnancy occurs outside the uterus
- Because of all the hormones injected, there can be possible side effects. An example of this is premature pregnancy.
